I think I read I-don't-know-more-where in the beginning, don cornelius arrested Cassandra Clare did not intend to write a tome 4 (Understandable since at the end of the Mirror Mortal, there is not a "great" mystery, except the queen of light over the suspect don cornelius arrested and his appearance). So she could not have prepared the comeback of you know who. But, I am aware, the "end" of this character is not very explicit (after, I do not remember exactly). And then there is something that tickles me since the end of my reading of Volume 3: Clary rightly points than its neighbor (Dorothea, I think) had, in Volume 1, said Jace would fall in love with bad person.
