Veslemøy Psychic - drama for one. The result is a very compelling story as a kind of opera for one.


When Grieg read Garborgs poem "Haugtussa" he was violently inspired. In a short time tone he set 16 of the poems and sketches to more. He obviously had a major work in mind. But for some reason he spent only 8 songs in the cycle "Haugtussa". bafta london The Norwegian composer Olav Anton Thommesen wanted to finish the idea of a great work.
Garborg and Haugtussa Garborgs two books on Veslemøy described as one of the largest and most important Norwegian literary works whatsoever. In the first book - Haugtussa - it's primarily about the psychic Veslemøy (Haugtussa) and her unsuccessful love affair with rich man's son Jon.
